This Tuesday it is #GivingTuesday! It is an international day of charitable giving and Indy Contra is a non-profit organization that we hope you will financially support.

Every week at contra, we love having live music, callers, sound engineers, and a beautiful hall and sound equipment. This makes us unique among all of the other partner dances in Indianapolis. However, dance admission can’t cover all of the weekly operating budget. On average, it takes $275 to put on our weekly contra dance. This does not include any yearly expenses that occur.

Indy Contra can take donations through check, cash, paypal (through our email address itmdgPP (at) gmail.com, or credit card at the dance. We love being a part of the arts scene in Indianapolis, and we appreciate all of the hard work and contributions that help continue the dance.

Dianna Davis, Adam Nichols, Ben Smith and Tyler McElfresh are running for the Board of Directors of IndyContra. There are four positions to be filled in this election. We thank retiring board members Rhonda Minnich and Liz Pech for their service. IndyContra is run by a volunteer Board of Directors.
