Thanksgiving, post-Thanksgiving leftovers, amazingly high calorie stuff you ate during Black Friday and/or time spent watching football, and Cyber Monday’s exercise consisted mostly of moving the mouse?

November 22nd we have John Teskey calling to Pinenuts! That’s Dianna Davis, Mario Joven, Dmitri Alano, and Steve Johnson (from Bloomington). They’ll be doing Irish and swing music with clarinet and trumpet!

Wednesday, November 9th, join us at 7:30 p.m., at Zion Evangelical United Church of Christ for an evening of community dancing for folks who don’t already dance (mostly), sponsored by us, and the international folk and Israeli dance groups. Unless your friendly p.r. gal messed up, this is the weekend schedule. (Please note that rows don’t accurately reflect the amount of time; 15 minute breaks look as big as 2 1/2 hours dinner time. Sorry.)
We have open calling/band, then advanced contras & squares all Saturday afternoon, and dancing for everybody on Friday & Saturday evenings, plus Sunday afternoon. Waltz, Lindy Hop, Folk, & musician sessions too!

We have an excellent forecast for Gypsy Moon Ball weekend, with highs around 60 each day (and lows in the 30’s – 40’s – perfect complement to a hot dance floor), 0% precipitation, and 100% fun contra dancing Friday night through Sunday afternoon.
Please come, for any or all, no pre-registration needed. Just show up with clean shoes, desire to contra to Kathy Anderson & Susan Moffett, Changeling & Coffee Zombies, an optional costume for Saturday evening (get ideas from past GMB here and here), and a little $$ for admission.
