The Board met on Tuesday, June 4, at 7:00 p.m. at the Athenaeum.

1.  Gypsy Moon Ball-October 27-28th
With Barry's inquiries for the rental of Camp Belzer on Oct 28 and the
availability of Brittany Bay, the Board finalized the decision to make
GMB a 2-day event. 

The tentative schedule for GMB weekend:
After the potluck supper, the Saturday night dance will run from
8 pm - 1 am.  The first band and caller will be scheduled from 8-10 pm. 
The featured band and caller will be scheduled from 10-1 am. 
Sunday will begin with morning brunch at Camp Belzer.  The dance will run
from 12-3 pm. Negotiations with bands and callers are in progress. 

The board approved a budget for the weekend and discussed the cost of
the dance as a 2-day event.

2.  Special Dances
July 28th, 2001 - Historical Society
There will be a 1 hour dance at the Indiana Historical Society.

August 14th , 2001
The Board discussed whether we should dance at the State Fair this year. 
At this point, we are not scheduled to dance.  Due to concerns about
past problems with set-up, quality of the dance floor, weather, and
other issues-the Board decided not to participate at the Fair this year.
Additionally, we have a special caller scheduled for that date.

3.  Next meeting
Our next scheduled board meeting was for August 14th-since this may
conflict with the special caller, there was a request to reschedule. 
Follow up for this request will be continued via email.
