Indy Contra hosts contra dances on Tuesday nights (& occasional weekends) in downtown Indianapolis, IN.
Contra, a community/social North American dance, has a long history of being open to all: no lessons, experience, partner, or membership required. Our lease specifies: dancers must CARRY IN clean non-marking, soft sole shoes.
Everyone is welcome to participate in this living folk traditional; we always feature live music.
See "About" for more about contra & us.
